Where to get FREE Birthday Rewards around Knoxville, TN

I have put in the work so that you can evaluate your options! I have joined all of the apps, endured the slew of emails or texts for a full year. I will post my results below for food, retail and entertainment. These businesses have locations in Knoxville, online or close to Knox. Every year on my birthday, I'll test this out again and update.

Below is a list of food, retail and finally a list of locations that I was told gave rewards but I did not personally receive anything (or try). Notice, some businesses require you to not only join their program via the app or website but to opt in to email or text notifications. I will do my best to note a few that I found. I did opt in to everything on most, just to play it safe.

• Bruster's - $3 off any purchase

• Captain D’s - Free Dessert - no purchase necessary

• Checkers and Rally's - Big Buford burger for $3, it's typically around $7

• Cheddar's - Free Dessert w/ purchase of adult entree

• Cheesecake Factory - Free slice of Cheesecake or Layer Cake w/ purchase

• Chick-fil-a - Free sandwich, 8 or 12 count nuggets or breakfast entree - no purchase necessary

• Chili’s - Free Dessert w/ purchase of at least $5

• IHOP - 5 b-day "PanCoins" reward points, which equals to a free Original Buttermilk Full Stack in the rewards center - no purchase necessary

• Krispy Kreme - 3 Free Original Glaze Donuts - purchase is required

• Bestbuy - $10 off reward towards any purchase 

• Express - In 2025 I got $40 B-day Cash! This may vary year to year or account to account. Last year I got $15. I'm not clear what the amount is based upon.

• Fresh Market - Free Slice of Birthday Cake

• Hibbet Sports - $10 Birthday Reward

• Honey Baked Ham - $9 Honeybaked cash

• Kendra Scott - 50% off one item

• Kohl’s - $10 Kohl's cash

• Levi - 100 Bonus Reward Points on Birth Month

• Macy’s - $5 off coupon

• Michael’s - 40% off one regular price item

• Nike - 10% off $100 or more purchase

• Pottery Barn - $25 off (no stipulations)

• Publix - Free container of select Publix or GreenWise brand ice cream or frozen yogurt, or a Publix Bakery bar cake. Up to a $10 value.

• Target - 5% off of your purchase

• Weigels - 500 birthday points added plus free bag of Bugles

ENTERTAINMENT B-DAY FREEBIES:

• AMC - Free popcorn but the only location locally is in Maryville, TN

• Regal Cinemas - Free small popcorn OR if you have the Regal Unlimited then you get a free large popcorn & large drink.

• TopGolf - $20 Off Game Play

The following stores I was told offer something. Some gave me a reward last year but not this year (2025). I give my experience, maybe you'll have better luck!

• Auntie Anne’s - I was told they give a b-day reward BUT you must spend a certain amount over the year. I didn’t get the reward due to this.

• The Chop House - I was told about a free dessert w/ dine-in but I did not test this.

• Connor's - I was told about a free dessert w/ dine-in but I did not test this.

• Dunkin Donuts - I have been signed-up via the app and emails for 2 years now. So far, I have not received a free drink offer, though many say they get these. I’m not sure HOW they get these. What I did get was a 3X rewards during birthday month for anything spent.

• Smoothie King - I was told about a free smoothie but after 2 years of being with their rewards program, I still have not received this.
