FRIEND OF THE YEAR

Criteria for consideration:

  • Nominee must be a current member of any Fun with Friends Group for 3+ months.

  • Nominee must be a resident of Knoxville, Maryville or surrounding areas.

  • Nominee must be an individual who is welcoming, helpful and friendly to those they meet.


Awarded to the FwF community member who has displayed friendship and compassion to their fellow peers.
Top collective nominations will be voted on by our FwF voter's committee.

  • Nominee must work in a Knoxville or surrounding areas location.

CHARITY OF THE YEAR

Criteria for consideration:

  • Charity must be either Knoxville based, Maryville based OR have a division in either location.

  • Charity must be an official 501c3

Awarded to the Knoxville charity that has went above and beyond in their efforts. Chosen solely by YOU!

LOCAL ARTIST OF THE YEAR

Criteria for consideration:

  • Nomination must be accompanied by artist's full name and way to contact/find the artist.

  • Nominee must be a Knoxville (or surrounding areas) artist and resident.

  • Nominee must express themselves originally through any form of the arts.

  • Nominee must have showcased their their art form publicly (online/in-person) at least once in the year.

Awarded to the local artist that has made a big artistic impact over the year. Winner chosen solely by YOU!

SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD

Criteria for consideration:

  • Nominee must have played in Fun with Friends Sports Leagues over the current year.

  • Nominee must display good sportsmanship, fair and generous behavior or treatment of others.

  • Nomination must be accompanied with an explanation as to why.

​

Awarded to the individual who always displays good sportsmanship during league play.
Top collective nominations will be voted on by our FwF voter's committee.

Criteria for consideration:

  • Nominee must be a current group member of Fun with Friends Knoxville or FwF Maryville.

  • Nominee must reside in Knoxville or the surrounding areas.

  • Nomination must explain why you are nominating this person.

  • Nominee is someone who inspires others in the group through their contributions.

  • Nominee qualities could include but are not be limited to: they create new experiences, new events, host events, involve new people, improves the experience of the community.

Awarded to a person who exhibits a willingness to help others in the FwF community

Top collective nominations will be voted on by our FwF voter's committee.

Criteria for consideration:

  • Nominee must be either Knoxville based, Maryville based OR have a division in either location.

  • For our criteria, business can have anywhere from 1-1000 employees.

  • Nominee can be a business owner OR local business. The award will be presented with both names.

Awarded to the local small business/owner making a BIG impact. Winner chosen solely by YOU!

LOCAL ESTABLISHMENT OF THE YEAR

Criteria for consideration:

  • Location must be based in either Knoxville or surrounding areas.

  • Location must be a brick and mortar.

  • Location establishment must be ANY of the following:
    restaurant, club, bar and/or entertainment venue

Awarded to one of your local favorite establishments. Winner chosen solely by YOU!

HELPING HANDS AWARD

Criteria for consideration:

  • Must be a current member of Fun with Friends Knoxville Activities Group for 3+ months.

  • Has contributed/participated/ volunteered for two Helping Hands initiatives in the past year.

​

Awarded to a charitable volunteer who has dedicated their time and services for Helping Hands initiatives.

Selected by the Helping Hands board then voted on by the FwF voter's committee.

  • Nominee must be a current member of Fun with Friends Knoxville or FwF Maryville.

  • Nominee must be a resident of Knoxville or surrounding areas.

  • Nominee must have joined the group after September of 2021.

  • Nominee must have attended or been involved with 10+ FwF activities in this time frame.

  • Nomination must explain why you are nominating this person.

Awarded to a new FwF community member who has become highly involved with the group.
Top collective nominations will be voted on by our FwF voter's committee.

Criteria for consideration:

  • Nominee must be a current member of Fun with Friends Knoxville Activities Group.

  • Nominee must be a resident of Knoxville or surrounding areas.

  • Nomination must be accompanied by an explanation as to why they are being considered.

  • Nominee must have been in the group for 2+ years and still actively involved.

  • Nominee must display acts of being welcoming, helpful and assisting in spreading the FwF name.


Founder's Award can only be given once in a lifetime.

Selected by the founder and voted on by the FwF Voter's committee.

FWF SOCIAL MEDIA INFLUENCER OF THE YEAR (SMITY)

Criteria for consideration:

  • Nominee must be a current member of Fun with Friends Knoxville or FwF Maryville.

  • Nominee must be a visual storyteller through any the "media" outlets FwF provides.

  • Nominee is someone who engages the group visually through posting or creating pictures or videos.

​

Awarded to the FwF community member who displayed excellence in our "media" platforms. Be that our YouTube, Instagram, Facebook or other social pages. Sharing visuals to promote on our group page.

Top collective nominations will be voted on by our FwF voter's committee.

  • Luis Perez - for his work as our official event and sporting photographer

  • Cierra Bussard - for her efforts on organizing the FwF Instagram team & visuals on the group page
