Criteria for consideration:

  • Nominee must be a current member of any Fun with Friends Group for 3+ months.

  • Nominee must be a resident of Knoxville OR surrounding areas.

  • Nominee must be an individual who is welcoming, helpful and friendly to those they meet.

Awarded to the FwF community member who has displayed friendship and compassion to their fellow peers.

  • Nominee must be either a resident of Knoxville or had displayed their work within Knox County.

  • Nominee must express themselves originally through any form of the arts.

  • Nominee must have showcased their art form publicly (online/in-person) at least once in the year. Full year of 2023 until now.

Awarded to the local artist that has made an impact over the year.

Criteria for consideration:

  • Nominee must be a qualified candidate for this category.

  • Nominee must reside in OR service the Knoxville area.

  • Nomination MUST include person's full name along with place of employment or volunteer.

  • The term “first responder” includes a firefighter, law enforcement officer, paramedic, emergency medical technician, or other individual (including an employee of a legally organized and recognized volunteer organization, whether compensated or not), who, in the course of their professional duties, responds to fire, medical, hazardous material, or other similar emergencies.

Awarded to an individual on the front line who responds in an emergency to save lives and help the public.

  • Must be a current member of Fun with Friends Knoxville Activities Group for 3+ months.

  • Has contributed/participated/ volunteered for two Helping Hands initiatives in the past year.

Awarded to a charitable volunteer who has dedicated their time and services for Helping Hands initiatives.

Selected by the Helping Hands board then voted on by the FwF voter's committee.

Criteria for consideration:

  • Nominee must be a qualified social worker. 

  • Nominee must be someone who services the Knoxville community.

  • Nomination MUST include the company they work for.

Awarded to an individual who has made a positive impact through their outstanding work with either adults, children or families.

Chosen solely by the public.

  • Nominee must be a current member of any Fun with Friends Group.

  • Nominee must be a resident of Knoxville or surrounding areas.

  • Nominee must have been in the group for 2+ years and still actively involved.

  • Nominee must display acts of being welcoming, helpful and assisting in spreading the FwF name. A good representation of the foundation of what FwF was based upon.


Founder's Award can only be given once in a lifetime.

Hand selected by the founder and voted on by the FwF Voter's committee.

TRADESPERSON OF THE YEAR AWARD

Criteria for consideration:

  • Nominee must be a qualified & currently active worker within their particular trade. 

  • Nomination MUST include full name and name of employer, or link to social or website to locate.

  • Please only nominate an individual and not an entire company. Even if they own said business.

  • Nominee must be someone who services the Knoxville community.

  • A tradesperson or tradesman/woman is a skilled worker that specializes in a particular trade. Tradesperson usually gain their skills through work experience, on-the-job training, an apprenticeship program or formal education.

Awarded to an individual who has displayed excellence in their trade. Chosen solely by the public.
